History
St Gab's Badminton Club was set up in
the 60's at the St Gabriels Church Hall on Chillingham Road, Newcastle upon Tyne. In the
late 80's we moved to Gibson Street baths due to the clubs increase in members.
About Us
We are a 3 court Club with about 36
adult members (always willing to take juniors!) playing on a Monday and Saturday night
during the Season. We have a wide range of players from Club to County standard - with 7
teams running in the Northumberland Leagues (3 Mixed, 2 Mens, 2 Ladies) and one team in
the Gateshead League. We start playing at 6.30pm on both nights and finish around 10 -
ish.
